    "Unofficial" results posted by the Town Clerk:

    Brown: 5,934
    Coakley: 3,887
    Kennedy: 57
    Write-in : 5

    65.64% turnout

    Congratulations, Scott Brown. You did it!

    Martha Coakley ran an awful, negative campaign. She is now damaged goods. Barney Frank is next.

    Staff from the Westford Gazette questioned the Town Clerk's office and it was stated that this was one of the largest voter turnouts in recent history. An exceptional display of voting power by the people regardless of who they voted for.

    Indeed...the only turnout higher of late was the last Presidential, which was around 80%. This senate race pulled out a 65%-ish turnout when we normally run 10-30%.
